Create a stunning throw-size quilt with this ready-to-sew Clamshell Quilt Kit including pre-cut pieces for your quilt-top, backing and binding fabrics and 100% cotton batting. All the prep (fabric selection, pattern calculations, measuring, cutting and notching of every individual piece) is done — saving you hours! Simply open and start creating.

Generally our clam kits will have spare pieces and we endeavour to include a base of generic fabrics (such as white-on-white, whites, creams, or greys depending on the main fabric) so the featured fabric really pops.

• WHAT'S INCLUDED: 77 x pre-cut, pre-notched pieces for your quilt top (54 full clams and 23 part clams), backing and binding fabrics, 100% cotton batting, printed step-by-step instructions and video tutorial.

• EQUIPMENT: Needle, cotton thread, pins, iron, scissors, basting spray (optional), un-picker, ruler.   You can also sew these large Clamshell with sewing machine for more experienced.

• SKILLS:  Basic hand sewing skills such as running stitch and maintaining a consistent seam allowance.
