About Us

Quilt Kits Australia is a small business based on the NSW South Coast.

We are passionate about hunting down amazing destash fabrics to create small batch, ready to sew complete quilt kits. Our idea was to create something accessible – not only in terms of skill, equipment, and price point, but most importantly time.

Finding a pattern, selecting fabrics, ensuring you buy the right amount of each kind, sourcing the cutting and measuring tools and templates, figuring out the cutting – all of this can take an inordinate amount of time. With Quilt Kits this is ALL done. You literally just open and sew.

Our projects are also a realistic size so you can experience the satisfaction of a finished product! We have complete kits for anyone new to quilting – all the fabric and wadding is included. And for experienced quilters we are offering some really amazing fabrics, many out of print for years, that are all pre-cut, notched and ready to go.

Handcrafting is a most wonderful way to unplug from our crazy modern world and unleash your creative side for a few hours or a whole weekend to make something useful and lasting. We hope you love it as much as we do.
