Refund policy
Refund, Returns and Replacement Policy
We offer a 30-day Return Policy for Major Failures. If more than 30 days have gone by since your purchase, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. Please inspect your items upon to delivery.
Major Failures: If a product is unsafe, significantly different from the description (eg the wrong item was shipped), or cannot be easily fixed, you can choose a refund or replacement.
To report a Major Failure, or where we have shipped the incorrect item, please notify us by email hello@quiltkits.com.au within 30 days of delivery. Include your order number and contact details, and we will advise you of next steps.
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label as well as instructions on how/where to send your package. The goods must be returned to us unused, undamaged and in/with the original packaging.
Minor Failures: If a product is faulty but can be fixed within a reasonable time we will repair or replace it.
If your kit does not have the correct number of pieces, or a piece/s is damaged, or if any of the pieces in your kit have a cutting fault (not the right size, selvedge showing over ¼ inch seam allowance) we will post replacement pieces. Notify us by email hello@quiltkits.com.au with photos and description of the damaged/faulty pieces. Include your order number and contact details.
We do not offer refund, return or exchange for the following:
- Change of Mind: You cannot return an item if you simply changed your mind, found it cheaper elsewhere, ordered the wrong size/colour, or decided you do not like it.
- Misuse: The problem was caused by you misusing the product or not following the instructions provided.
- Custom Orders.
- Gift certificates/gift cards.
- Fabric: We have very clear descriptions about our fabrics in our product descriptions including source, colour and pattern variations, Batik fabric possible residues, marks or faults, and second-hand used and pre-loved fabrics. None of our products are created with 100% brand new wholesale fabrics and this forms part of our Terms of Service. We do not refund or return for any fabric related reason except for cutting faults as detailed in Minor Failures above.
